Page of Wands

Page of Wands upright

A spark of curiosity is calling you. This page often shows up when you are about to try something new: a dance class, a podcast idea, a trip on your own, or a new hobby that makes you lose track of time. You do not need to be an expert. In fact, the beauty of this card is beginner energy, open and playful. As a person, the Page of Wands can be a young or young-at-heart friend who brings fun and bold ideas into your life, maybe someone who drags you to an event you would never pick. As a side of you, it is your inner explorer. Follow the thing you are curious about, and let it be messy at first.

Page of Wands reversed

Your enthusiasm may be scattered or stuck. You start projects with excitement, then drop them a week later. Or you have ideas but feel too self-conscious to try. Reversed, this page can also point to someone around you who is full of big talk but little follow-through, charming, but not quite reliable yet. If it describes you, be honest without being harsh. What would help you finish one small creative thing? A deadline, a buddy, a simpler goal? Sometimes the reversed page also means you are waiting for news that is delayed. Use the waiting time well. Practice, learn, and play privately until your confidence grows. Your inner explorer is still there, just a little shy right now.

What Page of Wands predicts

When I draw this card for someone, this is what I see coming:

• News about work is coming within days: an offer, an invitation to an interview, a short trip connected to a job. A young, enthusiastic person brings it. Say yes and show your energy.
• I see a young person with a bright idea coming into your circle, maybe a student, a junior colleague, a friend's son or daughter. Their enthusiasm wakes you up. Listen, they have something useful.
• A short trip comes up suddenly this week, a day out, a quick visit to another town, a work errand. Go. Something you hear on the way opens a new door for you.

When it comes reversed

• The news you are waiting for about work is delayed or comes half-finished. Ask a clear question to get the full picture. Do not jump on it before you know the details.
• A young person around you is full of big talk but little action. Be kind, but do not depend on their promises this week. Check before you rely on anything they say.
• Your own enthusiasm burns fast and goes out fast today. Choose one small task and finish it, instead of starting five new ones you leave behind. One finished thing feels better than five beginnings.

Page of Wands in love

Flirty, playful energy is in the air. If you are single, expect fun messages, a new crush, or an invitation from someone adventurous. Keep it light and enjoy discovering each other. In a relationship, bring back playfulness: try a new date idea, tease each other kindly, and treat your partner like someone you are still getting to know.

Reversed: Someone may be sending mixed signals or seems excited one day and distant the next. If you are single, enjoy the attention without investing too much until actions match words. In a relationship, routine may have dulled the fun. Ask what you both used to enjoy, and try one small adventure together without making it a big project.

Page of Wands for money and work

New ideas and learning opportunities are favored. This is a great time to take a course, explore a creative side hustle, or volunteer for a project outside your usual role. Your enthusiasm can open doors, so share your ideas. Stay curious, and test small before investing big money or time. Good news about a job or idea may arrive soon.

Reversed: Ideas may be plenty, but follow-through is weak. You might feel restless at work without knowing what you want instead. Choose one skill to develop and commit to it for a set period. Be cautious with impulsive career moves. If news about a job is delayed, keep exploring options while you wait, and stay patient with the process.

Your path

Your path is opening through curiosity. Something new is calling your name, and you do not need permission to explore it. Approach it like a beginner, with wonder rather than pressure. Try things. Ask questions. Talk to people who inspire you. This is the start of a story, so let it unfold one exciting step at a time.
